In Venice in the 15th century "Venus Naturalis" was born. Giorgione's pupil, Titian, broke with his master and began to portray the female nude as an earthy, sensual, and fruitful creature. This art form that has been a consuming passion for me has given rise to a body of work that I've named "Venus Naturalis", as well. This ongoing project explores the female form and various feminine sexual personae.  They are all the goddess Shakti, the great Mother, the Great Creator, the object of male desires, male fears and male hopes. One half of the symbiotic dynamic that allows us all to extend ourselves into the future.
